Lectionary Banner
This powerful tool is at the top of the Home, Music, Preaching, and Visuals pages. After you log in, it will display the next future lectionary day (certain Lesser Festivals are skipped) until you change to another one (which can be a day in the past).
The calendar on the left controls this banner and the lectionary content of the page you’re on. Change the month by clicking on one of the blue arrows; the banner and page content will refresh to show the first lectionary day of the new month. Click on a particular date within a month to view that date’s lectionary content (or the content for the next lectionary day after the date you chose, if there isn’t one on that date). If you’re looking at a day some weeks or months away and want to reset the banner to the current date, click the “Today” button. The “View larger calendar” link takes you to Month View of the Planner Calendar, which will be set to the same month as the banner calendar.
The “Plan It” button allows you proceed right to worship planning by taking you to the Day View of the Planner Calendar, which will be set to the date shown in the banner.
On the home page, the right side of the banner cycles through several pieces of clip art for the lectionary day shown. On other pages, a single piece of clip art is displayed.
